Thanks to all who
have participated in past TOCC survey's, these are enormously useful to us in
providing our clients with the best service and support. Judging by your
response, the results are also very interesting and useful to you. To
provide you with more of this kind of peer-to-peer knowledge sharing, we are
expanding our surveys. As always the results are available to anyone
requesting the information, and thanks in advance for your continued
participation and thoughtful responses.
In the last survey we asked how things were going in project management
(request the latest results).
Whether it is developing and launching new products, rolling out new
information systems, opening new plants or stores, or incorporating
engineering changes into existing products, you have told us doing projects
faster, finishing on-time, and doing more with the same or fewer resources
(people, machines and budgets) are essential to your success. So now that we
have your thoughts on where things are today, we would like to know where
you think they are going in the future. In most companies projects are
becoming increasingly important to overall business success.
The new survey
deals with what your organization is doing to meet this challenge. Where do
you see the leverage points for making gains, and how well-aligned you feel
your company's efforts are with these critical areas. We think everyone
wants to know what is going on in other organizations, and how it is
working, so there are questions for both; what is actually being done, and
also your perceptions of what should be done. As always, you answers are
anonymous. We've also provided a space for you to suggest future survey
topics, and questions we should be asking but haven't.
